Fans of 2018's Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon should be more than happy to hear that Japanese developer and publisher Inti Creates is officially producing a full-blown sequel to the critically acclaimed 2D platformer.
Supervised by Koji Igarashi — one of the masterminds behind Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and its countless follow-ups — Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC "very soon."
Although story details are still under wraps, Inti Creates has already confirmed that Zangetsu and Dominique will make a return in the recently revealed project. The spiritual successor to Castlevania will also introduce "a brand-new cast as they battle with swords, whips, and more to defeat a new demonic threat."
As a friendly reminder, the latest entry in the Bloodstained series — ArtPlay's Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night — was released in June 2019 to mostly positive reviews (currently sitting at a great 83% score on Metacritic).
