Switch-Exclusive DEADLY PREMONITION 2: A BLESSING IN DISGUISE Shines in All-New Footage

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise is finally coming to Switch on the 10th of July, and if you can't wait to play Swery's next big thing, IGN has released over 15 minutes of exciting footage from the sequel.

For those unfamiliar with Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise, the long-awaited game was officially announced exactly two months ago. Although the title is technically a Nintendo Switch exclusive, the fact that its fan-favourite predecessor was initially released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 suggests that its fast-approaching sequel might receive a new console port and arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One one day.

Just like the original, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise allows the player to take on the role of FBI agent Francis Morgan. In the sequel, the protagonist will try to solve yet another terrifying murder mystery.

Actually, A Blessing In Disguise won't be a traditional sequel, as the game will shed some light not only on Morgan's new case, but also the unlikely hero's complicated past. Thankfully, the project won't be a rehash of the original, with the main chunk of action taking place in a new location — the sunny town of Le Carré.

Considering that A Blessing In Disguise launches in 12 days, we will learn a whole lot more about Morgan's new "adventure" in the coming days. In the meantime, check out the aforementioned footage down below:

The true sequel to Deadly Premonition is coming to Nintendo Switch. In the year 2005, FBI agent York visits Le Carré, a small town in New Orleans where he encounters a mysterious serial murder case alongside his “friend” Zach. Produced by the original creator team. The story takes place in a small town in New Orleans which was created based on research and interviews.

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise will arrive on Nintendo Switch on July 10, 2020.
