CRYSIS REMASTERED Releases on July 23; Microsoft Store Leaks New Details, Screenshots and Trailer

The official Microsoft Store has successfully managed to ruin yet another big surprise, this time prematurely revealing that Crytek and Saber Interactive's highly anticipated Crysis Remastered will release on July 23.

Considering that the game is supposed to make its debut at some point this summer, it's safe to say that said listing is correct and the new edition of the groundbreaking FPS will indeed launch next month. What's even better, the very same date appears in the latest trailer for Crysis Remastered that has also been leaked by the good people at Microsoft (and the action-packed video's mirrored version is available at this link).

As a friendly reminder, Crysis Remastered will arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, featuring high-quality textures and improved art assets. The game's base size is about 7 GB on Xbox One.

Unfortunately for fans of 2008's Crysis Warhead — the base game's PC-exclusive stand-alone DLC — Saber is currently focusing on remastering Crysis, which means that the game won't include Warhead at launch.

While we're patiently waiting for the official version of the aforementioned trailer (watching it in 4K [or at least full HD] would definitely make analysing all the visual enhancements over the vanilla version a whole lot easier), take a closer look at some new screenshots from the fast-approaching remaster down below:

The classic first person shooter from Crytek is back with the action-packed gameplay, sandbox world, and thrilling epic battles you loved the first time around – now with remastered graphics optimized for a new generation of hardware.

Crysis Remastered is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 23, 2020.
