Boston and Hartford Will Never Be the Same in VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE - SWANSONG Trailer
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Category: Role-Playing Games
Big Bad Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong was announced back in 2018, but the long-awaited video game's first trailer was released just a couple of minutes ago, during Nacon's E3-like media briefing.
Said cinematic puts the spotlight on an ongoing war between the starving vampire communities of Boston and Hartford. Although their centuries-long feud was supposed to end at a luxurious party, something will go terribly wrong. In the upcoming title, you will decide the fate of three vampires — each belonging to a different clan of the Camarilla (a sect of vampires) — trapped between the two sides of the bloody conflict.
According to Nacon, the fresh role-playing game will allow players to "weave between their intertwined stories, unravel fact from fiction and make choices that will define the future of the city of Boston."
Fans of the Bordeaux-based game developer's first major production — 2018's The Council — should be happy to hear that Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong will arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC (exclusively via the Epic Games Store) sometime next year.
As a friendly reminder, Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is not the only brand-new title set in the beloved World of Darkness universe, as Draw Distance's Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York and Hardsuit Labs' Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will both be released later this year.
