SNIPER GHOST WARRIOR: CONTRACTS Has Sold Over 700,000 Copies, CI Games Announces
Despite a rocky launch, Polish game developer CI Games' Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts recently reached yet another milestone, selling over 700 thousand copies worldwide since its initial debut in November 2019.
Between November 22 and June 30, CI Games recorded PLN 51 million in sales revenues. According to the studio, the first-person shooter has finally become profitable, earning over PLN 3 million in net profit so far.
Considering that CI Games is currently working on two big-budget video games — Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts 2 and the long-delayed sequel to Lords of the Fallen — the fact that the Polish company's latest production is selling pretty well — and will surely be more financially rewarding than 2017's Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 when it's all said and done — is definitely great news for both CI Games and its shareholders.
As a friendly reminder, the recently announced sequel to Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this fall, with its Xbox Series X and PS5 versions launching at a later date.
It's worth remembering that CI Games will share new details on the brand-new sequel in the coming weeks, possibly shedding a light on the FPS's mysterious — and more importantly, "surprising" — game mechanics.
Fulfill contracts that offer clear objectives with a fixed monetary reward and options to complete bonus challenges for payouts. With hundreds of ways to take down a wide range of targets, Contracts offers precise, strategic sniping gameplay at its absolute best.
Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam and GOG).
