DEADLY PREMONITION 2: A BLESSING IN DISGUISE Gets Intense Launch Trailer and Lukewarm Reviews

After a relatively short wait, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise has made its debut on Nintendo Switch, giving all fans of the Swery-created original a chance to solve yet another terrifying murder mystery.

Currently priced at $49.99, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is an interquel that puts the spotlight not only on FBI agent Francis Morgan's latest case, but also the beloved protagonist's past "adventures."

Unfortunately, it seems that Swery's new production is not for everyone, as the first wave of reviews for the horror game is rather lukewarm (the sequel is sitting at a 57% score on Metacritic at the time of this writing).

Although Toybox's Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is a Nintendo Switch–exclusive, the fact that the 2010 original was initially released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 suggests that its fast-approaching sequel might receive a brand-new console port and arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One down the line.

Those who have yet to play the original and would like to learn more about Morgan's past should be happy to hear that Deadly Premonition: Origins is now available on the eShop at a 50% discount until July 26, 2020.
