Official Box Art for PlayStation 5–Exclusive

Following the recent reveal of the first PlayStation 5 box art — starring Insomniac Games' Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales — Gearbox Publishing has shared the official cover art for Counterplay Games' Godfall

The never-before-seen artwork puts the spotlight on the next-gen production's colourful world and three unique character classes, including the powerful Silvermane who will reportedly fill the standard tank role.

Quite interestingly, Godfall will support up to 3 players in any co-op session, allowing players to slay various monsters and robot-like creatures together. Unfortunately, the Duelyst studio has been very secretive about their most ambitious game to date and it's still not clear how the original title's online mode actually works.

For those unfamiliar with Godfall, it's marketed as a looter slasher featuring high-impact third-person melee combat. The For Honor–esque title will arrive on PlayStation 5 and PC (via the Epic Games Store) later this year, so we will definitely learn a whole lot more about the action-packed video game in the near future.

In the meantime, take a closer look at the aforementioned cover art for Godfall's PS5 version down below:

You are the last of the Valorian knights, god-like warriors able to equip Valorplates, legendary armor sets that transform wielders into unstoppable masters of melee combat. Tear through foes as you climb through each of the elemental realms and challenge the mad god, Macros who awaits you at the top. Ascend in Godfall, the first-of-its-kind, looter-slasher, melee action-RPG.

Godfall is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC (via the Epic Games Store) Holiday 2020.
