Czech Developer Amanita Design Announces That CREAKS Will Be Released Next Wednesday

Czech developer and publisher Amanita Design has some fantastic news for all fans of the studio's previous work, as the long-awaited puzzle game Creaks will officially make its debut next week, on the 22nd of July.

That's right, Amanita's brand-new 2D game is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam and GOG) next Wednesday, taking you on a visit to a mysterious "towering mansion, inhabited by eccentric avian folk and strange creatures, which may or may not be as dangerous as they seem."

For those unfamiliar with Creaks, it's a puzzle game created by the team responsible for Machinarium and Botanicula. Just like every Amanita-made game ever made, Creaks is a beautiful — yet quite unsettling — journey that "delights the senses with its hand-painted visuals, precise animation," and "eerie sounds."

Quite interestingly, Creaks will force the player to battle not only bunch of avian creatures, but also furniture monsters that could very well live right behind the walls of your own — seemingly perfectly normal — room.

To learn more about the unique world of Creaks, take a look at the recently released trailer down below:
