Kojima Productions' Death Stranding is no longer a PS4–exclusive title, as last year's groundbreaking walking simulator — starring Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen — is now available on PC via Steam and the EGS.
Currently sitting at a sweet 86% score on Metacritic, Death Stranding's PC version is actually receiving better final scores that its original edition (82%), with critics universally praising the long-awaited port's graphical and performance improvements that make the whole experience more rewarding, smooth, and enjoyable.
To celebrate yesterday's PC debut of Death Stranding, CD Projekt Red has sent a special message to Kojima, congratulating the artist and his team on the successful PC launch of the sandbox. It's worth remembering that Kojima and the Warsaw-based studio have been complementing each other's work for a while now.
As a reminder, CD Projekt Red's next major video game — the long-delayed RPG Cyberpunk 2077 — will finally arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam, GOG, and the EGS) on the 19th of November.
Without further ado, take a look at the Polish developer's wonderful homage to Death Stranding and an action-packed launch trailer for the newly released PC version of Kojima's latest extravaganza down below:
