Warsaw-based game developer Atomic Wolf has announced that the studio's first major production — a Sin City–esque 2D platformer, titled Liberated — will finally make its debut on Steam and GOG on July 30, 2020.
Published by Walkabout Games, the long-awaited PC version of Liberated will be priced at $19.99, €18.99, £15.99 on Steam, GOG, and Humble Bundle. If you just can't wait to play it, the dystopian title is available now to pre-order on GOG & Humble Bundle with a nice 20% discount, bringing the price down to $15.99.
As a reminder, Atomic Wolf's take on Inside was initially released on Nintendo Switch on the 2nd of June.
"We’ve read carefully all the feedback that we’ve got from the players. We are thrilled that the Playable Graphic Novel formula met with such a warm reception," Liberated Producer Robert Purzycki said. "Thanks to our dialogue with the community we will be able to deliver an enhanced version of the game on the PC, and later update it on the [Nintendo] Switch with additional content."
English voice-over, high-res textures, enhanced lighting, and support for keyboard, mouse, and gamepads are not the only brand-new features coming to Liberated, as the game's PC edition will also introduce two never-before-seen story expansions: Liberated: Glory to the Heroes and Liberated: For the Homeland.
