Nintendo Switch Version of CRYSIS REMASTERED Gets Brand-New Trailer Showcasing Its Core Features

Following a series of bizarre schedule changes, Crysis Remastered will be released on Nintendo Switch next Thursday, allowing players to experience the glory of Crytek's fan-favourite technological marvel on-the-go. 

That's right, the groundbreaking FPS is coming to Nintendo's best-selling console on July 23 with "high-quality textures, global illumination (SVOGI), vegetation bending, optimized dynamic light settings, dynamic resolution, gyro aiming, motion blur, bloom (light rays & sunbeams)," and sharks. Yes, sharks.

Considering that Switch is a weak piece of hardware compared to PS4 and XBO, the fact that Crysis will be available on the console is nothing short of a miracle — even if some of its most demanding features have been trimmed down to make the whole explosive experience work relatively well on the current-gen system.

As a reminder, Saber Interactive's take on the beloved 2007 shooter will arrive on PS4, XBO, and PC at some point this year, as the developer needs more time to make sure that the new remaster lives up to its name.
