Mankind Stands No Chance Against Crypto-137 in DESTROY ALL HUMANS! Release Trailer
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Category: Open-World Games
The deliciously evil Crypto-137 has finally arrived on Earth, as the long-awaited remake of Pandemic Studios' classic third-person shooter Destroy all Humans! is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Created by Black Forest Games (Fade to Silence), Destroy all Humans! is a remake of one of Pandemic's most popular games that allowed players to take on the role of one angry alien and turn Earth into a living Hell.
THQ Nordic's Destroy all Humans! was being marketed as a faithful recreation of the beloved original, and it seems that the newly released remake is a bit too old-school compared to modern open-world productions. According to critics, Destroy all Humans! — currently sitting at a lukewarm 69% score on Metacritic — plays like a game from a decade ago despite beautiful visuals and the inclusion of a never-before-seen mission.
Although Destroy all Humans! seemingly leaves a lot to be desired, fans of the original — and people who enjoy retro gaming — should still give Black Forest's love letter to Crypto-137's first adventure a fair shot.
