Three OUTRIDERS Unite in 10 Minutes of Never-Before-Seen Gameplay Footage Focused on Co-Op Mode

Considering that both Anthem and The Division 2 failed to live up to expectations — although BioWare's latest title was a much bigger disaster comparable only to Fallout 76 — every fan of looter shooters should keep an eye on People Can Fly's Outriders. At its core, the upcoming project is a 3-player co-op shooter.
Speaking of co-op, IGN has shared over 10 minutes of never-before-seen gameplay footage from Outriders, putting the spotlight on a joint effort of three players who try to channel their inner monster hunters and kill various beasts living on the alien planet of Enoch — including Bigjaw, Moldfang, and the Oreyard Queen.
When it comes to Enoch — which is neither too hot nor too cold to sustain human life — PCF is putting a lot of effort to make it as unique as possible. "As you explore in the game, you’ll travel through all kinds of different environments, from wide open areas to tight interiors," Lead Narrative Designer Szymon Barchan said. "There’s an amazing amount of diversity in the locations, but they all have one thing in common — they were designed to tell the player something about this new world they inhabit."
It's worth remembering that Outriders is not the only major game the team responsible for Bulletstorm and Gears of War: Judgment is working on, as PCF recently announced its brand-new next-gen project led by its New York division and supported by four other studios in Warsaw, Rzeszow, Newcastle, and Montreal.
Published by Square Enix, Outriders is the main star of this month's IGN First, so we will definitely learn a whole lot more about the ambitious production in the very near future. In the meantime, take a look at the amazing abilities of the Trickster, Pyromancer, and Devastator in the action-packed video down below:
OUTRIDERS is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe. As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet. With rich storytelling spanning a diverse world, you’ll leave behind the slums and shanty towns of the First City and traverse forests, mountains and desert in the pursuit of a mysterious signal. Combining intense gunplay with violent powers and an arsenal of increasingly twisted weaponry and gear-sets, Outriders offers countless hours of gameplay from one of the finest shooter developers in the industry – People Can Fly.
Outriders is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & PC (via Steam) Holiday 2020; will arrive on Google Stadia at a later date.
