Second CYBERPUNK 2077–Focused 'Night City Wire' Will Take Place Next Monday, August 10

CD Projekt has just confirmed that the long-awaited second 'Night City Wire' digital show — focused solely on the fast-approaching Cyberpunk 2077 — will officially take place on Monday, August 10 at 6PM CEST.

According to CD Projekt, this time the Polish studio will share details about "lifepaths, show you the types of weapons you will be using in the game, and discuss Refused's transformation into SAMURAI!"

It's worth remembering that June's 'Night City Wire' event was filled with major Cyberpunk 2077–related announcements, including the unexpected reveal of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, a brand-new TV series that will premiere on Netflix in 2022. The show is being created by the team behind BNA: Brand New Animal.

Considering that the long-delayed RPG will finally make its debut on November 19, we will definitely learn a whole lot more about its core gameplay mechanics and features in the very near future — as CD Projekt is planning to host at least two more 'Night City Wire' shows — with the last one possibly airing in October.

Although Cyberpunk 2077 has not even launched yet, CD Projekt has already announced that their opus magnum will receive two major story expansions, following in The Witcher III: Wild Hunt's footsteps.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you. Become a cyberpunk, an urban mercenary equipped with cybernetic enhancements and build your legend on the streets of Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam, GOG, and the EGS) on November 19, 2020; coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X this holiday season; will arrive on Google Stadia before the end of the year.
