Robin of Locksley Goes Full Metal in Action-Packed HOOD: OUTLAWS & LEGENDS Reveal Trailer

Although Robin of Locksley's big-screen adventures tend to crash and burn at the box office, Focus Home Interactive seems to believe in his ever-lasting appeal and recently announced Hood: Outlaws & Legends.

At its core, the newly revealed video game is a PvPvE production that "pits two four-player teams against each other as they attempt the same daring heist in environments populated with enemy AI guards."

Created by Sumo Newcastle (EVE: Valkyrie), Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a cross-gen video game that will arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC (via Steam) at some point in 2021.

According to Game Director Andrew Willans, the all-new online title won't be historically accurate, allowing players to use truly fantastic skills and abilities not found in the classic tales we've come to know and love.

"It is always an exciting moment when you finally get to reveal the game you have been working on behind closed doors for so long,” Studio Director Owen O’Brien said. "With Hood: Outlaws & Legends, our aim was to create a dark and brutal re-imagining of the Robin Hood legend, pitting myth [...] against man-made power and corruption. The team here in Newcastle are all passionate gamers, and over the past 16 months we believe we have created a new and fresh twist on the PVPVE genre."
