ATOMIC HEART Looks Great in New Gameplay Footage; BIOSHOCK-Like FPS Is Scored by DOOM Composer
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Category: Atomic Heart
Atomic Heart will be scored by Mick Gordon, the award-winning composer responsible for the soundtracks for the Doom remake, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Prey, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Doom Eternal.
To celebrate this exciting announcement, Russian developer Mundfish has shared some never-before-seen gameplay footage from Atomic Heart, giving us a chance to listen to a small part of Gordon's all-new OST.
As a reminder, the artist recently decided to part ways with Bethesda following a series of disagreements between the composer and the publisher over the Doom Eternal soundtrack's (botched) audio mixing.
Furthermore, Mundish has announced that their debut project will also be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. "Our game will have no loading screens due to [the] fast SSD," the developer told IGN. "Next-gen hardware also provides an exclusive opportunity to fulfill our artistic vision and deliver our game with stunning visuals with no downgrading, which was absolutely essential for current gen."
Considering that the Moscow-based game developer is seemingly getting ready to talk more about Atomic Heart, we should learn a whole lot more about the ambitious BioShock-like first-person shooter in the coming months.
