ANCESTORS LEGACY Team Announces Mysterious Project WM Focused on the Eastern Front

Destructive Creations — the creators of Ancestors Legacy, IS Defence and Hatred — have announced WM, a completely mysterious title that is headed to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.

According to the studio, their next project takes place on the eastern front of World War II, but those who expect a realistic take on said conflict should cool their engines, as the game's first teaser trailer features a tired soldier — and it wouldn't be surprising if not for the fact that he immediately transforms into a wolf.

Unfortunately, that's everything we know about MW at the time of this writing. Although the newly revealed game probably won't hit stores anytime soon, Destructive Creations is planning to discuss its core features — and possibly announce its official title — sometime this month, possibly during the upcoming gamescom.

As a reminder, the long-awaited Nintendo Switch port of 2018's Ancestors Legacy made its debut in June.

While we're patiently waiting for more details about MW — which seems to be inspired by 11 bit studios' award-winning This War of Mine — be sure to take a closer look at its all-new reveal trailer down below:
