Crytek Shares Sweet CRYSIS REMASTERED Wallpaper, FPS Will Arrive on PS4, Xbox One, and PC Very Soon

Although the Nintendo Switch port of Crysis Remastered was released last month, those who would like to play the all-new version of 2007's classic on their PS4, Xbox One, or PC are still waiting for their own chance.

To make the wait less painful, Crytek has shared a wonderful wallpaper from Crysis Remastered, putting the spotlight on the one and only Nomad and the groundbreaking game's unique (at least at the time) setting.

According to the Frankfurt-based studio, Crysis Remastered is almost ready to arrive on the aforementioned platforms, so chances are that a release date for its next editions will be announced sooner rather than later.

For those unfamiliar with Crysis Remastered, the Saber Interactive–created remaster of the first entry in the Crysis game series is currently sitting at a so-so 66% score on Metacritic, with many reviewers complaining about its quite dated visuals and technical issues, including major problems with frame-rate and stability.

The classic first person shooter from Crytek is back with the action-packed gameplay, sandbox world, and thrilling epic battles you loved the first time around – now with remastered graphics optimized for a new generation of hardware.

Crysis Remastered is currently available for Nintendo Switch; will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2020.
