Remedy Releases Over 20 Minutes of Action-Packed CONTROL - AWE Gameplay Footage
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
As promised, Remedy Entertainment has released some never-before-seen gameplay footage from the fast-approaching Control - AWE DLC that will build a bridge between Control, Alan Wake, and a brand-new IP.
That's right, the Max Payne studio is creating a shared universe — called the Remedy Connected Universe — and the all-new AWE expansion is a stepping stone to a larger story starring Jesse Faden and Alan Wake.
Although we know for a fact that the beloved protagonist of the Hitchcock-esque Alan Wake game series will make an appearance in AWE — which is hardly surprising — the aforementioned gameplay footage is completely spoiler-free and doesn't reveal any details on his post-Alan Wake's American Nightmare fate.
It's worth remembering that the controversial Control Ultimate Edition — which includes the base game and its two major expansions, The Foundation and AWE — will finally arrive on Steam on August 27, 2020.

Control: You are Jesse Faden, a young woman with a troubled past. You’ll uncover the secret activities of the Bureau agents and explore the strange and shifting halls of the Bureau’s headquarters, The Oldest House. Unlock new abilities with Objects of Power and upgrade your Service Weapon to take on bigger and more powerful enemies.
Control is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via the EGS); coming to Steam on August 27, will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at a later date.
