Wii-Exclusive LEGEND OF ZELDA - SKYWARD SWORD Is Reportedly Coming to Nintendo Switch

According to the good people at Amazon UK, 2011's The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will make its way to Nintendo Switch at some point in the future — and there's a chance it will be officially announced soon.

Rumour has it that Nintendo will host its next Nintendo Direct digital show later this month — and official confirmation of a Switch version of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword would definitely make fans happy.

For those unfamiliar with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, it was one of the best-reviewed games of 2011 — and it's worth remembering that said year was jam-packed with critically acclaimed projects, also including Batman: Arkham City, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Dead Space 2, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Considering that both The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening were huge commercial successes, it's safe to say that a Switch port of the Wii-exclusive adventure game would certainly help Nintendo sell even more units of its fan-favourite gaming system (currently at 62M).

At the time of this writing, the Japanese tech giant had not revealed any official plans to hold another Nintendo Direct in the near future and bring The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword to Nintendo Switch.
