Beloved Master Roshi Officially Joins DRAGONBALL FIGHTERZ as Brand-New DLC Character

Publisher Bandai Namco has some truly great news for all fans of 2018's Dragon Ball FighterZ, as Master Roshi will officially join the game's ever-expanding roster of playable characters as soon as this September.

The hero will make his Dragon Ball FighterZ debut as part of the FighterZ Pass 3 DLC package, which is priced at ‎$19.99. As a reminder, Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku are already included with said season pass.

For those unfamiliar with Master Roshi, he's a pretty perverted old man — also known as the Turtle Hermit and God of Martial Arts — who trained countless well-known heroes, including Gohan, Ox-King, and Goku.

Considering that Bandai Namco has sold well over 5 million copies of Dragon Ball FighterZ, it's safe to say that the Japanese publisher won't abandon its record-breaking fighting game anytime soon — and chances are that developer Arc System Works is already working on its full-blown (and maybe even next-gen) sequel.

Without further ado, take a closer look at Master Roshi in all his glory in the brand-new trailer down below:

DRAGON BALL FighterZ is born from what makes the DRAGON BALL series so loved and famous: endless spectacular fights with its all-powerful fighters. Partnering with Arc System Works, DRAGON BALL FighterZ maximizes high end Anime graphics and brings easy to learn but difficult to master fighting gameplay.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam).
