CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS: COLD WAR Has Been Officially Revealed, Full Reveal Is Planned for August 26

Activision has just confirmed that 2020's CoD game is titled Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, and if you just can't wait to learn more about Treyarch's new project, the publisher has also released the game's first trailer.

The new trailer for the long-rumoured Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War focuses on the famous speech given by KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov at the height of Cold War. During a 1984 interview with G. Edward Griffin, Bezmenov discussed the state of the Soviet Union and the potential consequences of the nuclear arms race.

The video basically confirms that Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War will have a single-player campaign, which wasn't a sure thing, as Treyarch's previous project — 2018's Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 — had no story mode.

For those unfamiliar with Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, the FPS is being developed by Treyarch (Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops) and Raven Software (Quake 4, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare).

According to Activision, more details on Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War will shared online next Wednesday, August 26. Without further ado, check out the reveal trailer for Treyarch and Raven's new title down below:
