Dare to Take One Giant Leap in the Latest Trailer for Frontier Developments' ELITE DANGEROUS: ODYSSEY

Frontier Developments has shared the first entry in its Elite Dangerous: Odyssey development diary series, giving us a chance to learn more about its core gameplay mechanics and exploring beautiful worlds on foot.

Considering that the upcoming Elite Dangerous: Odyssey will supposedly allow fans to become true pioneers and experience light atmospheres for the first time, it shouldn't be surprising that its brand-new "boots-on-the-ground" gameplay is the main focus of the recently released video accurately titled "One Giant Leap."

According to the Cambridge-based developer, the unique DLC will feature "breathtaking planets powered by stunning new tech" — and the dev diary does a good job spotlighting the beauty of untouched places.

Its worth remembering that the big expansion is not the only project the creators of Jurassic World Evolution are working on, as the company is simultaneously developing an original Warhammer: Age of Sigmar RTS.

Without further ado, take a look at the Elite Dangerous: Odyssey - One Giant Leap dev diary down below:

Disembark, Commander, and leave your mark on the galaxy in Elite Dangerous: Odyssey. Explore distant worlds on foot and expand the frontier of known space. Be the first to step out onto countless unique planets as you discover land untouched since time began. Elite Dangerous: Odyssey invites you to become a true pioneer.

Elite Dangerous: Odyssey is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) in early 2021.
