As hard as this is to believe, Marvel's Avengers — which was officially announced back in January 2017 — will finally launch next month, allowing all fans of the IP to battle the forces of evil (and also grind like crazy).
If you just can't wait to play the full version of Marvel's Avengers, Square Enix has shared the game's action-packed launch trailer, giving us a chance to take a closer look at its sixth playable characters — namely Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Black Widow, and Ms. Marvel — and their spectacular abilities.
That's not all, as Marvel has also released a never-before-seen trailer for the game that puts the spotlight on its main bad guys — obviously not counting the powerful MODOK — Advanced Idea Mechanics (aka AIM).
Considering that Crystal Dynamics' first major video game since 2015's Rise of the Tomb Raider will arrive on the 4th of September, we will definitely learn a whole lot more about the all-new title in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, take a closer look at the aforementioned trailers for the Destiny-like project down below:
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Marvel's Avengers will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on September 4, 2020; coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X this holiday season.
