Electrifying Technomancer Steps Into the Spotlight in Spectacular OUTRIDERS Trailer
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
As promised, Square Enix shared first details on Outriders' fourth class during today's broadcast centred on the Technomancer — and fans of unconventional weapons should keep an eye on the wizard-like character type. It's worth remembering that you will also be able to play as the Trickster, Pyromancer, and Devastator.
The Technomancer possesses a plethora of deadly powers, focused mostly around summoning various tools of destruction out of thin air. Their ever-expanding arsenal will include many useful weapons, such as turrets that automatically attack enemies, rocket launchers, and even miniguns. That's not all, as they can also alter the biological structure of their opponents — turning their bodies into running time bombs, for example.
According to the team, the Technomancer will be the perfect go-to class of every fan of healing friends and dealing with enemies from afar, as one of their passive skills will make them most effective with sniper rifles.
"The Techomancer is an exciting and flexible class that can be built as anything from crowd control focused support, to a high-powered artillery heavy damage dealer. They’re a great addition to any team of Outriders," Creative Director Bartek Kmita said "Co-op in Outriders is an intense and challenging experience that allows for a great variety of team synergies and power combinations. Players will need to truly master their team tactics in order to take on the toughest challenges in the game."
The Technomancer–focused video was not the only piece of media released during the Outriders event, and you can check out the Become Terror, Co-Op Carnage Gameplay, and The Devastator trailers down below:
