PlayWay's CAR MECHANIC SIMULATOR VR Will Hit Stores Between January and March 2021

Polish publisher PlayWay has announced that Car Mechanic Simulator VR will be available on Valve Index, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift in Q1 2021 — so sometime between the beginning of January and end of March.

CMS VR was supposed to make its debut in 2019, but Red Dot Games (CMS 2018) and Game Formatic — young game developer headquartered in Poznan — clearly need more time to polish their VR experience.

"Car Mechanic Simulator VR challenges players to repair, paint, tune and drive cars in fully 3D world," the Warsaw-based company said. " Find classic, unique cars in the new Barn Find module and Junkyard module. Build and expand your repair service empire in this incredibly detailed and highly realistic virual reality simulation game, where attention to car detail is astonishing. All this with new [...] graphics and virtual reality experience. Featuring cars (42), tools (10+) and unique parts and options (1000+). It’s time to roll up your sleeves and get to work in full immersive gameplay!," PlayWay added.

As a reminder, CMS VR is not the only title PlayWay is producing, as the studio is also working on Phantom Doctrine 2: The Cabal, Radio Commander VR and Yakuza Empire, among countless smaller video games.

Considering that the VR version of Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 will be released early next year, chances are that PlayWay will share new details on the next entry in the best-selling game series sooner rather than later.
