BioWare Debuts a New Behind-The-Scenes Look at DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION Sequel

Although the highly anticipated sequel to BioWare's Dragon Age: Inquisition was officially announced at The Game Awards 2018, we still know next to nothing about the Jade Empire developer's new role-playing game.

To make the wait a little easier, BioWare released our first glimpse of the next Dragon Age game — which still doesn't have an official title for some reason — at the gamescom: Opening Night Live digital show.

Unfortunately, the video is yet another behind-the-scenes trailer for a BioWare project — joining the likes of Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem — suggesting that the game is in the very early stages of development.

Thankfully, some new concept art and interviews with the game's creators — including Casey Hudson and Mark Darrah — are not the only things revealed in said trailer, as it also confirms that Gareth David-Lloyd (Red Faction Armageddon, Dance of Death: Du Lac & Fey) will reprise the role of Solas for the next-gen RPG.

Rumour has it that the new Dragon Age title is not the only game currently in the works at BioWare, as the award-winning studio is reportedly simultaneously developing at least three projects — the long-awaited Dragon Age production, a new version of Anthem, and a remaster of the fan-favourite Mass Effect trilogy.

Take a closer look at the aforementioned Dragon Age 4 trailer — starring The Great Wolf — down below:
