GHOSTRUNNER Gets Kickass New Artwork; Closed Beta Will Seemingly Begin on September 15
Publishers 505 Games and All in! Games have officially announced that the long-awaited Ghostrunner will be getting a private beta, and chances are that said round of testing will finally begin as soon as next month.
According to a cryptic message posted on the game's Twitter page, the beta will kick off on September 15.
If you just can't wait to play Ghostrunner, you should definitely join the Mirror's Edge–like project's Discord server and visit the Ghostrunner Beta website to get the chance to take part in the upcoming closed beta.
Developed by One More Level — with help from 3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks — Ghostrunner is set in a cyberpunk world inspired by Blade Runner and Minority Report. As the titular hero, players will embark on a dangerous adventure to reach the top of a mysterious tower and put a definitive end to spreading chaos.
To make the wait for Ghostrunner less painful, the studios have also shared these new pieces of promo art:
Enter an intense cyberpunk world and experience fierce, dynamic combat! Conquer your enemies in the physical world and in cyberspace. Hunt for answers in humanity’s last remaining shelter. Ascend humanity’s last remaining shelter, a great tower-city. The tower is torn by violence, poverty, and chaos.
Ghostrunner is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) in 2020; will arrive on Nintendo Switch at a later date.
