Now-Deleted GHOSTRUNNER Trailer Reveals Cyberpunk Game's Release Date — October 27
In a truly unexpected turn of events, a now-deleted Ghostrunner trailer has revealed that One More Level's highly anticipated spiritual successor to the original Mirror's Edge will make its debut on October 27, 2020.
Considering that the video has since been deleted, chances are that the Polish team's new project — which will be co-published by 505 Games and All in! Games — is indeed set to hit stores in less than two months.
Although the game's October launch date has yet to be confirmed by the publishers, we know for a fact that players will be able to learn more about Ghostrunner during its closed beta, which will begin in September.
It's worth remembering that the development of Ghostrunner is led by One More Level, with the teams at 3D Realms (Wrath: Aeon of Ruin) and Slipgate Ironworks (Bombshell) helping the God's Trigger studio bring their unique vision to life. In the game, you will assume the role of a lone — and cybernetically enhanced — hero who embarks on a dangerous journey to reach the top of a dark tower and put an end to spreading chaos.
With Ghostrunner releasing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) sometime this year, it's safe to say that the long-awaited video game's publishers will reveal its official release date sooner rather than later.
Enter an intense cyberpunk world and experience fierce, dynamic combat! Conquer your enemies in the physical world and in cyberspace. Hunt for answers in humanity’s last remaining shelter. Ascend humanity’s last remaining shelter, a great tower-city. The tower is torn by violence, poverty, and chaos.
Ghostrunner is officially coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam) in 2020; will arrive on Nintendo Switch at a later date.
