Eivor Battles Mythical Beasts in Latest ASSASSIN'S CREED VALHALLA Gameplay Footage

Just like 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the fast-approaching Assassin's Creed Valhalla will also feature a good handful of legendary beasts, mythical creatures, and supernatural beings for the player to wrestle with.
During his (or her) quest to find a new home, Eivor will encounter the Daughters of Lerion, the Black Shuck — the Satan of Norse mythology — and also the Lost Drengr of Ragnar Lodbrok. Those who do not like the more outlandish features of the long-running game series should be happy to hear that the vast majority of the aforementioned fantastic elements in Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be a direct result of inhaling toxins.
Unfortunately for those who are not planning to purchase one of the upcoming game's premium editions, a special story mission starring the legendary Beowulf will be exclusive to the long-awaited title's season pass.
Considering that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will make its big debut on November 17 — only two days before the launch day of Cyberpunk 2077 — it's safe to say that we will learn a whole lot more about the sandbox in the near future; maybe even during the next Ubisoft Forward event that will take place on September 10.
Without further ado, take a closer look at the latest Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay footage down below:

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC (via Uplay and the EGS) on November 17, 2020; will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at a later date.
