Fans of enchanting titles like Magicka and Lichdom: Battlemage should be happy to hear that Spellbreak is finally available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (exclusively via the Epic Games Store).
For those unfamiliar with Spellbreak, it a completely original — and maybe more importantly, free-to-play — "multiplayer action-spellcasting game" where you choose one of six character classes — each possessing different abilities, including controlling time and flying — and duke it out with up to 42 players on one map.
Considering that Spellbreak allows players to create their own deadly combinations of various spells, fans of the evergreen battle royale genre who are looking for new experiences should definitely give it a fair chance.
As a reminder, Spellbreak was created by Proletariat, the team behind Streamline and World Zombination. If you want to ask the studio a question about their new game, you can always join their official Discord server.
Without further ado, take a look at this action-packed launch trailer for Proletariat's latest title down below:
Unleash your inner battlemage in Spellbreak. When magic is forbidden, locked in the iron grip of the Vowkeepers, it’s up to you to resist and reclaim what’s yours. Harness the raw power of your gauntlets and tap into the unimaginable forces of the elemental planes . Soar into fierce battles, through floating islands and impossible terrain, to unleash the Breaker within.
