WATCH DOGS Protagonist Will Be Playable in LEGION; Aiden Pearce Will Join the Fight via the Season Pass

Following his brief appearance in 2016's Watch Dogs 2, Aiden Pearce — the main protagonist of the award-winning original title — will make a return in the upcoming Watch Dogs Legion in a more substantial role.
Unfortunately for fans of the ruthless vigilante — portrayed by Noam Jenkins — he won't be available for all gamers, as you will be able to play as Aiden only by purchasing the Watch Dogs: Legion Season Pass, which is available as a standalone addition to the base game or as part of the Gold, Ultimate & Collector editions.
According to Ubisoft Toronto, Aiden won't be the only special agent introduced via the season pass, as at least three more characters will join the fight for London during the cross-gen project's post-launch phase.
To make the wait for Watch Dogs: Legion a little less painful, Ubisoft has also shared two never-before-seen trailers for the game — one focusing on Stormzy's brand-new music video Rainfall, which will play a key role in a unique quest chain — and the game's recruitment mechanics, arguably the most unique feature of the game that will give you a chance to play as anyone. It's worth remembering that Clint Hocking's next big thing will be an Xbox Series launch title (but it will still release for PS4, Stadia, XBO, and PC on October 29).
To learn more about Stormzy's song, the recruitment system, and Pearce's return, check out these trailers:
Build the resistance. Recruit anyone. Play as anyone. Londoners are being oppressed by corrupt opportunists and it’s up to you to build a resistance to give the city back to the people. With an entire population of potential recruits and the city’s technology at your fingertips, you’ll need to hack, infiltrate, and fight your way to a liberated London.
Watch_Dogs Legion is coming to PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC (via the Epic Games Store and Uplay) on October 29, 2020; will release for Xbox Series X on November 10 and arrive on PS5 at a later date.
