Ubisoft has shared new details about Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: The Summit, an all-new game mode that will see players fight their way up a 100-floor skyscraper in the middle of the completely ruined Big Apple.
The Die Hard–inspired content drop will be released on the 22nd of September, alongside Title Update 11.
This mode will be available to players who own The Division 2 Warlords of New York DLC, which made its debut back in March. It's worth remembering that Ubisoft Massive is not planning to abandon the beloved sequel anytime soon, as new content will be added to the game throughout the year (and possibly beyond).
In the upcoming expansion, Agents will take on the challenge of ascending "a 100-story building where each floor aims to challenge your skill and resolve as an agent of The Division. The Summit is a highly replayable game mode intended to challenge all [...] Agents, regardless of your preferred difficulty. The Summit will have you go up against all the factions of The Division 2 during your ascent, and mastering it will allow you to earn unique rewards including a new exotic introduced with TU11."
That's not all, as Ubisoft has also confirmed that Faye Lau — a rogue agent introduced in the original as the acting commander of The Division in New York — will make a return during Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: Season Four, with a never-before-seen event — which takes place in the White House — arriving this winter.

New York, where the events of the first Division game was set, is under threat of a new, devastating biochemical attack. While The Division was answering the distress call in Washington, D.C., Aaron Keener, a former Division Agent turned Rogue, has taken control of Lower Manhattan and is manipulating the factions of New York with the help of dangerous Rogue Agents.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: Warlords of New York is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC (via Uplay and the Epic Games Store).
