SNIPER GHOST WARRIOR: CONTRACTS 2 Hits Stores in December or Early 2021; Sequel Has 2 Campaigns
CI Games has officially revealed that their long-awaited sequel to 2019's Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC this December or, in an absolute worst case scenario, early next year.
It's worth noting that CI Games is simultaneously working on a next-gen version of Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts 2, but the shooter's PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X editions don't have a release window yet.
According to CI Games, the title will introduce players to "a dramatic single-player campaign where the stakes are at their highest, deep inside enemy territory," offering them a chance hit targets from over 1,000 meters away — a feature that's uncommon even in the vastly more popular Sniper Elite game series.
In Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts 2, players will assume the role of a contract sniper assassin called Reaper. As the main protagonist, fans will be operating in the heart of a lawless region of the Middle East along the Lebanese and Syrian borders to infiltrate "an insidious criminal syndicate," and also bring them to justice.
While we're patently waiting for more details about Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts 2, take a closer look at its very first trailer — showcasing extreme long-range shooting — and some new screenshots down below:
