The Eagle Has Landed in Bombastic CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS COLD WAR Teaser Trailer

Activision has shared new gameplay footage from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, allowing us to take a look at Alex Mason, Frank Woods, and Russell Adler's attempt at stopping a cargo aircraft before it takes off.

Considering that we're talking about a new CoD title, it shouldn't be surprising that what begins as a stealth mission ends with a festival of 'splosions and the plane crashing on the ground on the north coast of Turkey.

As a friendly reminder, the solo campaign is being developed by Raven Software (X-Men Origins: Wolverine).

Those who just can't wait to play Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's online modes — created by the team at Treyarch — should be happy to hear that PS4 players will be able to take part in an exclusive alpha that will kick off tomorrow, on September 18 at 10AM PDT, and is set to conclude on September 20 at 10AM PDT.

What's even better, Activision has officially confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will arrive on both current- and next-gen consoles (and PC) on November 13, which means that the next entry in the fan-favourite series will actually be available shortly after the debut of Xbox Series (Nov. 10) and PS5 (Nov. 12).

Be sure to take a closer look at the first gameplay footage for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War down below:

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will drop players into the depths of the Cold War's volatile geopolitical battle of the early 1980s. In a gripping single-player Campaign, players will descend into the dark center of a global conspiracy alongside iconic characters Woods, Mason, and Hudson, as well as a new cast of operatives to stop a plot decades in the making.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC on November 13, 2020.
