Crytek has released three never-before-seen trailers for Crysis Remastered, an all-new version of the beloved FPS made by Saber Interactive, the renowned team responsible for SnowRunner and WWE 2K Battlegrounds.
Although the first trailer is a rather standard launch trailer — focusing on plenty of impressive 'splosions and North Korean soldiers getting hurt real bad by one angry Nomad — the other ones are more interesting, as they shine a light on Crysis' new graphical features, including ray tracing (on PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC).
That's right, the newly released remaster of the groundbreaking shooter — which is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via the EGS) — is the first console game with ray-tracing support.
Unfortunately, it seems that Saber's Crysis Remastered does not live up to the award-winning original, as it has major performance issues on every single platform — and is even "utterly unplayable" on Xbox One X.
Without further ado, take a closer look at the aforementioned trailers for Crysis Remastered down below:
The classic first person shooter from Crytek is back with the action-packed gameplay, sandbox world, and thrilling epic battles you loved the first time around – now with remastered graphics optimized for a new generation of hardware.
Crysis Remastered is currently available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via the EGS).
