Rutger Hauer's Dan Lazarski Solves a Terrible Crime in Next-Gen OBSERVER: SYSTEM REDUX Footage

Category: Observer: System Redux

Bloober Team is clearly planning to start the next generation of consoles with a bang, as the Cracow-based game developer's Observer: System Redux will be a launch title for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
That's right, The Medium — which will also release on XS (and PC) at some point in 2020 — is not the only next-gen video game the Polish company is currently working on. Although the aforementioned horror will be something completely new, Observer: System Redux is technically a remake of the original from 2017.
In Observer: System Redux, you will assume the role of a private detective — portrayed brilliantly by the late Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind) — and try your very best to solve a bunch of blood-boiling crimes by plugging into the cutting-edge neural implants of both criminals and their victims.
Although fans of Observer should recognise the majority of in-game locations, characters, and crime scenes, its next-gen version will reportedly be 20% longer than the original, featuring some never-before-seen story beats that will make System Redux a little bit less derivative for those who have already played the original.
