Developer Modus Studios Brazil (formerly The Balance) has officially revealed that the beloved Ultraman will be a playable character in the recently announced sequel to Override: Mech City Brawl — but there's a catch.
Unfortunately, those who would like to channel their inner Ultraman in Override 2: Super Mech League will need to purchase the special Ultraman Deluxe Edition — which is currently priced at $39.99 — and you can pre-order it right now. As a reminder, the 3D fighting game will arrive on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC in December. Modus Games will also host a closed beta for Override 2 in the coming weeks.
Override 2: Super Mech League – Ultraman Deluxe Edition includes the base game, the Ultraman Season Pass (bringing 4 fighters from Netflix’s Ultraman series to Override 2), and fresh cosmetic items for use in-game.
The Ultraman Deluxe Edition will allow players to duke it out as 4 fan-favourite characters, namely: Shinjiro Hayata (aka Ultraman), the villainous Bemular, the powerful Dan Moroboshi, and the mysterious Black King.
