Activision has finally shared the first details about the Zombie Mode in Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, which promises to take all players on a bold and pulse-pounding journey filled with excitement and action.
The four-person co-op mode won't have any ties to previous CoD titles, telling a completely unique story. In the Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War online component — which is being made by Treyarch — players will get the chance to explore a WWII bunker that hides many secrets. Following a huge interdimensional event, your crew will have to face not only deadly monsters, but also the Omega Group, a villainous Soviet-led cell.
The new Zombie Mode will also introduce some never-before-seen systems and game mechanics, including an all-new way to abandon mission. According to the developer, "if the whole squad is in trouble, you can opt to exfiltrate the undead combat zone via helicopter. Although zombie spawns will be dialed up to 11, you should expect to earn some rewards if your squad completes this final push to survive."
What's even better, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War's Zombie Mode will fully support cross-play across all platforms (and generations) — namely PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC — allowing all enthusiasts of killing zombies to team up without worrying about the console of one's choice.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will drop players into the depths of the Cold War's volatile geopolitical battle of the early 1980s. In a gripping single-player Campaign, players will descend into the dark center of a global conspiracy alongside iconic characters Woods, Mason, and Hudson, as well as a new cast of operatives to stop a plot decades in the making.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC on November 13, 2020.
