CYBERPUNK 2077: Keanu Reeves Is a Bad Guy in New TV Spot for CD Projekt's Opus Magnum

CD Projekt is ramping up the Cyberpunk 2077 marketing campaign, as the The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt team's highly anticipated take on Deus Ex: Human Revolution will finally hit stores all around the world next month.

You read that right, Cyberpunk 2077 — which was officially announced back in May 2012 — will finally arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 19, 2020, allowing all fans of open-world games to create their own character and embark on an action-packed journey alongside Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand.

In Cyberpunk 2077, Reeves' charismatic rock star will be your guardian angel or the devil on your shoulder depending on your in-game choices. That's right, if you decide to unleash your inner demons upon the citizens of Night City, Silverhand will be more than happy to help you burn the dystopian city to the ground.

Quite interestingly, the beloved John Wick star won't be the only real-world celebrity portraying a character in Cyberpunk 2077, as Grimes, aka Claire Elise Boucher — Elon Musk's girlfriend — will also have a role to play in the cross-gen production; and just like Silverhand, her Lizzy Wizzy will be an accomplished musician.

To make the painful wait for Cyberpunk 2077 easier, CD Projekt has released a brand-new TV spot for their next big thing — set to the tune of Billie Eilish's bad guy — starring the one and only Keanu. Check it out:

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you. Become a cyberpunk, an urban mercenary equipped with cybernetic enhancements and build your legend on the streets of Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam, GOG, and the EGS) on November 19, 2020; coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X this holiday season; will arrive on Google Stadia by the end of 2020.
