NEED FOR SPEED HOT PURSUIT - REMASTERED Will Be Announced on Monday, EA Suggests

Although the fact that Need for Speed Hot Pursuit - Remastered is a real thing has never been a well-kept secret, we're still waiting for its official announcement — but it looks like the situation will change very soon.

Electronic Arts has released a brand-new screenshot for last year's Need for Speed Heat, with the mysterious number 510 printed on vehicle registration plates and a huge banner in the background — so there's a real chance that the publisher will finally reveal Need for Speed Hot Pursuit - Remastered this Monday, October 5.

Back in August, Amazon UK revealed that the remaster of 2010's Need for Speed Hot Pursuit would be priced at £34.99. According to Amazon, the game would arrive on Xbox One and Switch on the 13th of November.

It's probably worth remembering that EA's latest remaster of a Criterion Games–developed title — Burnout Paradise Remastered — made its original debut in 2018 and is currently available for PS4, XBO, NS, and PC.

While we are patiently waiting for the official announcement of the long-rumoured remaster of Criterion's first — and award-winning — Need for Speed video game, take a look at this cryptic image shared by EA:

UPDATE: The official website for EA's new NFS is live confirming that it will be revealed Monday at 7AM PT.
