THE WITCHER: Season 2 Will Be Focused on Geralt's Relationship With Ciri and Search for Yennefer
Following the official reveal of Geralt of Rivia's new armour, Netflix has released the first synopsis for the second season of the record-breaking TV series based on Andrzej Sapkowski's books and CDP Red's games.
According to the newly released synopsis, The Witcher: S2 will shine a light on the aftermath of the Battle of Sodden — which was the main focus of the last two episodes of the first season — with Geralt (Henry Cavill) trying to accept that Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) may have been killed by the truly ruthless Nilfgaardian army.
Coming to terms with personal loss won't be the only problem the White Wolf will have to deal with in the upcoming season, as the Continent's most powerful players will do whatever it takes to find Princess Cirilla — and Geralt's attempt at guaranteeing her safety will lead the troubled duo to the ruined Kaer Morhen.
Thankfully, the seemingly forgotten school won't be completely abandoned, as Witcher: Season 2 will finally introduce audiences to Vesemir (played by Kim Bodnia), Geralt's friend, master and the oldest living witcher.

"Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside."
