Mileena, Rain, and Sylvester Stallone's Rambo Will Join the Fight in MORTAL KOMBAT 11 ULTIMATE

As promised, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have officially revealed concrete details about Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, a GOTY-like edition of the 2D fighting game that will introduce three all-new fighters.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC (Steam) on November 17. The full package will be priced at $59.99 — also including Mortal Kombat 11, Kombat Pack 1, and Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath — but those who have already purchased the best-selling title can upgrade their experience by buying Kombat Pack 2 for $14.99.

Warner Bros. has also provided this short summary of Mileena, Rain, and John Rambo's previous adventures:

Mileena — "Mileena is the product of Shang Tsung’s diabolical cloning experiments: a perfect blend of Tarkatan ferocity and athletic grace. Brought forward in the timeline by Kronika, Mileena has learned of her tragic future. Her enemies now must submit, or die."

Rain — "Growing up an orphan, Rain joined Edenia’s army. His strategic genius earned him quick promotion, which he used to learn he was the bastard son of the god Argus, Edenia’s Protector. Armed with the knowledge that he’s a half god, Rain battles for his place in Edenia’s pantheon."

Rambo — "John J. Rambo is a former United States Special Forces soldier deeply haunted by his time in Vietnam. He is rough, aggressive and is well known for entering exceptionally dangerous situations alone. Rambo has reactivated his ruthless fighting skills to infiltrate the MK universe."

If you're a happy owner of the base game and already planning to purchase a next-gen console in the near future, you should be glad to hear that you will get a free digital copy of the production's next-gen version featuring a crisp dynamic 4K resolution, enhanced visuals, faster loading times, and also cross-gen support.
