Exciting XIII REMAKE Trailer Showcases New Tools of Destruction; Nintendo Switch Version in Question

The team at IGN has released a new trailer for the long-awaited remake of XIII, this time shedding light on all the weapons you will use during your dangerous journey to avenge the death of the President of the US.

Developed by PlayMagic, XIII: Remake is a faithful reimagining of the 2003 game, which was originally made by the team at Ubisoft Paris. According to Microids, the remake will feature "a completely reinvented and unique cel-shading design," allowing fans and newcomers to experience the magic of Jean Van Hamme's story without feeling like they're playing an almost 20-year-old title. Sadly, it won't have any online modes.

Unfortunately for fans of Nintendo Switch who would like to play XIII: Remake in the near future, chances are that said port has been delayed, or maybe even cancelled altogether, as the trailer's last few frames mention only PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Still, it is probably best to just wait for an official announcement on the matter.

Considering that XIII: Remake will finally make its debut on November 10, it's safe to say that we will learn a whole lot more about the new version of one of most original FPS games of the 2000s in the coming weeks.

Without further ado, take a look at the action-packed "weapons" trailer for the remake of XIII down below:
