Another Key Figure in No Longer Working on VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE - BLOODLINES 2

Yet another key figure has decided to part ways with Paradox Interactive, as Narrative Designer Cara Ellison has left Hardsuit Labs, the studio behind the long-awaited sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

According to a Pardox spokesperson, it was purely Ellison's choice. It's worth remembering that she's not the only well-known artist that recently departed from Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. Just a couple of months ago, Writer Brian Mitsoda and Creative Director Ka’ai Cluney revealed that they had been fired from the company. Ellison is currently working on Armello at Melbourne-based developer League of Geeks.

"We can confirm that Cara Ellison has decided to leave Hardsuit Labs and is no longer working on Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2," Paradox said. "Cara brought fresh ideas to the project and many of her contributions will be present in the game launching next year. We thank her for her work on Bloodlines 2 and wish her the best in all of her future endeavors," the Crusader Kings 3 studio added.

Considering that Mitsoda, Cluney, and Ellison are no longer involved with the long-delayed game, it's safe to say that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 won't be hitting stores anytime soon. Paradox is still hoping to bring the project to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC sometime next year.

As a friendly reminder, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 was officially announced back in March 2019.
