New Defender From Thailand Steals the Show in RAINBOW SIX SIEGE – OPERATION NEON DAWN

Rainbow Six Siege just got a whole lot better with Operation Neon Dawn, which introduces many quality-of-life improvements, a long-awaited map rework, and a Defender with a potentially game-changing gadget.
Although the 4th Season of Year 5 features only one new Operator, Aruni definitely deserves a closer look.
The unique Defender comes from Thailand and possesses a deadly gadget — called the Surya Gate — that destroys any drone and projectile that hits it (and also damages any Attacker that tries to touch the device).
Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Neon Dawn also allows fans to freely explore a redesigned Skyscraper, as the team at Ubisoft has removed "a number of exterior balconies in order to reduce the opportunities for Attackers to shoot Defenders without committing to entering the building. A new roof traversal and second-floor connector ensure there are still plenty of movement routes to take advantage of, and a number of tweaks have been made to the bomb sites to make them more competitive," Ubisoft said.
To make Rainbow Six Siege even more competitive, the team has decided to make some changes to Jäger's Active Defense System (it now has a cooldown of 10 seconds), Echo’s Yokai (the drone is no longer invisible when placed on ceilings), and Hibana’s X-Kairos Launcher (it can be configured to shoot 2, 4, or 6 X-Kairos).
