CD Projekt Red Finally Shows Off CYBERPUNK 2077 Running on Xbox One and Xbox Series

Without much fanfare, the team at CD Projekt Red has showcased the console version of Cyberpunk 2077, for the first time putting the spotlight solely on the role-playing game's Xbox One and Xbox Series editions.
While it's quite obvious that Cyberpunk 2077 looks much better on the newer console. it also seems to be working pretty nicely on the old hardware. Back in June, the company announced that their next big thing would be running in 4K on both Xbox Series X and Xbox One X — and it looks like they kept their promise.
It's probably worth remembering that the shooter's unsatisfactory performance on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One was the main reason why CD Projekt recently decided to move its release date to December 10, 2020.
Although Cyberpunk 2077 will get a proper next-gen upgrade at some point in 2021, the highly anticipated sandbox will still be playable on both Xbox Series S/X and PS5 on launch day via backwards compatibility.
Be sure to take a closer look at nearly 10 minutes of new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay footage down below:
