Square Enix Reveals MARVEL'S AVENGERS: KATE BISHOP - TAKING AIM; Super-Adaptoid is DLC's Big Bad

Marvel's Avengers may have been a huge misfire, but Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are still committed to making it the best experience possible, and the project's first big DLC will make its debut very, very soon

Today, the teams revealed Marvel's Avengers: Kate Bishop - Taking AIM, a story DLC that will introduce fans to Kate Bishop, one of the world's best archers and also... a master swordsman (don't ask us why and how).

In Marvel's Avengers: Kate Bishop - Taking AIM, the titular heroin will team-up with Hank Pym to rescue her former master, Clint Barton, who's trapped in time. During her journey, Bishop will learn a couple of never-before-seen abilities (including teleportation) and face a new super-villain, the powerful Super-Adaptoid who can mimic the devastating moves of her fellow friends (so he's basically a new version of Taskmaster).

Marvel's Avengers: Kate Bishop - Taking AIM is launching on December 8; free of charge to existing players.

Considering that the Kate Bishop - Taking AIM content drop is being developed by the award-winning team responsible for the Tomb Raider reboot and its sequel, there's a chance that those who just can't wait to channel their inner Robin Hood while playing Marvel's Avengers won't be disappointed by the end result.

When it comes to Clint Barton's great adventure, his chapter is titled Marvel's Avengers: Clint Barton - Future Imperfect and will make its debut early next year (potentially alongside the next-gen port of the base game).
