HYRULE WARRIORS: AGE OF CALAMITY Gets Launch Trailer; Prequel Is Now Available for Switch

The team at Nintendo has shared an explosive release trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, as this unexpected prequel to 2017's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is finally available for Nintendo Switch.
That's right, you can play the Romance of the Three Kingdoms 14 and Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires company's latest video game — which is currently priced at $59.99 on the eShop — on your Nintendo Switch right now.
Although nobody in their right mind expected Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity to be as good as its ground-breaking predecessor — which happens to be one of the best-reviewed video games of all time — it seems that the newly released game still misses the mark in many ways. According to the critics, the story and core combat mechanics are surprisingly weak, as Age of Calamity does very little to shine a new light on its world.
Still, fans of Link, Zelda and their beloved friends may want to give Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity a fair shot, as the brand-new entry in Koei Tecmo's series is currently sitting at an ok-ish 79% score on Metacritic.
