FROSTPUNK Developer Will Reveal Mysterious PROJECT 8 During the First Half of 2021
We have been hearing about 11 bit studios' mysterious Project 8 for a good while now, and it looks like we will finally learn a whole lot more about the production — including its official title — in the coming months.
11 bit studios CEO Przemysław Marszał has revealed that the developer is getting ready to share new details about their in-house projects, as well as various third-party video games the company is planning to publish.
According to the recently appointed CEO, the Warsaw-based video game developer and publisher will finally start showing off new titles in the near future, as Project 8 and at least one more game (although it probably won't be an internally developed production) will be officially announced during the first half of next year.
It's probably worth remembering that Project 8 — which was announced back in May 2018 — is not the only video game 11 bit is currently working on, as the creators of Anomaly: Warzone Earth and This War of Mine are also developing Project Dolly and Project Eleanor (which are as enigmatic as the long-awaited Project 8).
Considering that 11 bit has expressed interest in creating more stories set in the stone-cold universe of Frostpunk on numerous occasions, chances are that one of these titles is actually a sequel to the hit game.
Marszał has also made it clear that Frostpunk's iOS and Android versions are still on track for a 2021 debut.
